How Great is Our world?

We live in such a great world, don't we? This great world exceeds 7 billion population, and this great world has the ability to communicate from one side to the other in less than a second. The world today in modern society is amazing, is it not? So civilized is it not? The real meaning of civilized:

(ci: French, yes. vil: From Latin abreviated form of vile. Found in words as vilify, villainy. -ize: Suffix, used to make verbs from nouns. ex: energize, cause to have energy. ci-vil-ize: yes cause it to be vile.)

Since the year 2000 an estimated 100,000 people are murdered (//source?) each year around the world. 1 in every 6 woman in the US alone have experienced an attempted or completed rape. Yet we live in a civilised world? People often state how great life is and that we should live life and be happy, let me ask you a question. How can you be happy knowing that currently in Guantanamo Bay there are prisoners aged as young as 13 and as old as 98 to be interrogation for crimes that they probably did not commit or even know anything about.

There is enough food grown in the world for everyone. Yet we remain in a food crisis, over half of the grown food goes to waste and 1 in every 6 people cannot access enough of the waste and have to go hungry everyday, and yet once again we live in such a great world.

Now that we have covered some facts about the world let's start talking about why this all happens, it is rather simple really. This all happens because of greed. That is it in a nut shell greed for money, lust and power. People in their basic nature are evil and greedy. People are selfish in nature and there can be nothing done about it. Most people have an idea in there head that if you help one person another person suffers or a more well know portrayal of this is. If you help a fly caught in a spider web the spider will grow hungry and die. However if you just leave the fly it will be eaten by the spider. In the very end you are left with the same result one person will suffer no matter what happens. So people always chose to be the spider in life. people want to make life harder for other people as ling as it make it easier for them. This is seen on a daily basis.

Will Rogers once said “You can't say civilization don't advance... in every war they kill you in a new way.” It really is that simple the only reason civilizations advance is to find a new way to take over other civilizations. You don't have civilization to help people civilizations are created because one man wants more power then he already has.

You are most likely thinking now well all this is bad but how can this be fixed. Winston Churchill said “Civilization will not last, freedom will not survive, peace will not be kept, unless a very large majority of mankind unite together to defend them and show themselves possessed of a constabulary power before which barbaric and atavistic forces will” It is the people such as you and I that can and have to change the world today and make it civilized when evil shows itself do not turn a blind eye and walk away and say someone else can fix it. Because chances are you are that someone else and you are the one to fix it.

We live in a evil world and it is up to us as once race of man to change the evil our ancestors did such an amazing job to create. Before you say that the world is good and that life is good first think about what really happens in the world this is your motivation to change it.

The Meaning of Life

People all around the world have thought they have meaningless lives, they thought there was no purpose predisposed for them. That’s a great way for falling into a serious depression.

The thing is, EVERYBODY has come into this world for a reason. Even if they were unwanted kids. The simple fact of being alive means that you had to be procreated, you grew up in your mother’s womb, and you were born. That’s the beginning of live.

The next step of life is to learn. To learn from the emotions we feel, to learn from the mistakes we make, to learn for everything we do right, to learn from what our senses let us perceive as reality, etc.

The only limit to our capability to learn is death. But that’s no longer part of our lives!

We come to this world to learn! Every single person is learning something, each second of their lives. They might not realize it though, since its their subconsciousness which is taking in the information we receive.

Life is something very valuable. It is something we were meant to enjoy.

So, nobody is useless. They just have to acknowledge all the information they’re receiving all of the time and put their experiences into practice. Making the best of this limited amount of time we get on our planet.
